The capital's finance week reaches its fifth edition. Abu Dhabi Finance Week runs from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 December 2026 on Al Maryah Island, hosted by ADGM, the international financial centre based there.
The theme
This year's is The Capital Community, Powered by Partnerships: the week as a meeting place for sovereign funds, asset managers, banks and the companies they back, rather than a single conference stage.
The scale
The organisers expect more than 70 events, 800 speakers and 35,000 participants over the four days. Last year's edition had 819 speakers and ended with 82 memoranda of understanding signed.
From Dubai
Al Maryah Island is about an hour and a half by road from central Dubai. With seventy events across four days, most visitors from Dubai pick the two or three that matter to them rather than the whole week.
Before it in Dubai
November in Dubai has its own future-facing fortnight: the Future World Forum on 16 November and Dubai Future Week from 18 to 21 November.
Plan ADFW as a set of days, not one event. The flagship sessions are where the headlines come from, but the side events are where a Dubai founder or adviser actually meets an Abu Dhabi fund, and they are spread across the island and the hotels around it. Book a room on Al Maryah or Reem for the nights you need rather than driving back to Dubai at the end of each day.
